Recently Palmetto Industries International announced the launch of a new production facility in India.
This new facility is a consolidation of Palmetto India's previous FIBC bulk bag campus with a new
unit that has added small Woven Polypropylene (WPP) bags laminated with BOPP films as a product
line. Our corporate headquarters is located in Augusta, Georgia USA and serves as the hub of our North American distribution network.
The consolidation of equipment into one state-of-the-art facility uniquely positions Palmetto as the
only company with a global headquarters in the US to own a vertically integrated FIBC manufacturing
facility overseas. Retaining 100% control over the manufacturing process permits Palmetto to
provide their customers with enhanced customization, last minute changes, faster sampling and a
quicker delivery time.
The new campus has an initial capacity of nearly 12 million FIBC and 30 million WPP bags per year
and plans to triple this capacity within the next 18 months. With over 500,000 feet of global
warehouse space, Palmetto has an excellent distribution network and is capable of servicing their
customers in most locations within a 24-hour period.
